Meetings & Special Events

September 5 - Welcome back!

Mayor Rett Newton discusses what is going on in Beaufort, followed by a question/answer session.

October 3 - Plant Swap

This is the time of year to clean up your garden and separate perennials. Bring as many as you like to share with fellow members.

November 7 - Yoga for Gardeners

If you have ever woken up stiff or sore after a day of digging in the dirt, you won’t want to miss our November meeting. Wear some loose fitting comfortable clothes and soft soled shoes, and be prepared to learn some effective seated and standing yoga stretches that you can do before and after gardening. Your neck, shoulders, and lower back will thank you!

Our club includes two yoga teachers, Nikki Dunn and Cindy Cash, and we will host Kristin Martin, the owner of Momentum Yoga in Morehead City, as our special guest. Until then, Namaste.
